Competition Terms and Conditions

These Competitions are promoted and operated by Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd ("Brucey Bonus", "the Promoter", "we", "us", or "our").

By entering any competition operated by Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Regulatory Compliance

Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd operates skill-based prize competitions and free-entry prize draws in accordance with applicable UK legislation.

Where required, competitions will include a skill-based question or challenge. Where a competition question is absent or considered insufficient to prevent a significant proportion of participants from winning, a free postal entry route will be available.

Nothing in these Terms shall be interpreted as creating or promoting an unlawful lottery.

3. Eligibility

Competitions are open to individuals who:

•  Are aged 18 years or over; 
•  Are residents of the United Kingdom; and 
•  Are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. 

The following persons are not eligible to enter:

•  Employees, directors, contractors or agents of Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd; 
•  Immediate family members of any person involved in operating or administering a competition; and 
•  Any person professionally connected with the supply of a prize. 

Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd reserves the right to request proof of age, identity and address before awarding any prize.

Failure to provide satisfactory evidence may result in disqualification.

4. Competition Period

Each competition will display an opening date and closing date on the Website.

All dates and times are based on local UK time.

Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd reserves the right to alter competition dates where necessary due to operational, technical or unforeseen circumstances.

Competition closing dates will not normally be extended solely to increase ticket sales.

Entries received after the stated closing date and time will not be included in the draw.

5. Entry Requirements

Each competition page will display:

•  Entry price (where applicable); 
•  Maximum number of entries available; 
•  Any entry limits per participant; 
•  The prize being offered; and 
•  The competition closing date. 

An entry becomes valid once:

•  Payment has been successfully processed; or 
•  A valid free postal entry has been received and accepted. 

Payment for entries does not guarantee a prize.

Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd reserves the right to reject any entry which does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.

6. Competition Questions

Some competitions may require entrants to answer a question or complete a challenge.

Only entrants who provide the correct answer will qualify for inclusion in the draw.

Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd reserves the right to determine whether an answer is correct.

Where a competition does not contain a suitable skill-based question, a free postal entry route will be made available.

7. Free Postal Entry Route

Eligible competitions may be entered free of charge by post.

Each postal entry must contain:

•  Full name; 
•  Residential address; 
•  Date of birth; 
•  Telephone number; 
•  Email address; 
•  Competition name; 
•  Correct answer to the competition question (if applicable); and 
•  Confirmation that the entrant accepts these Terms and Conditions.

The following conditions apply:

•  Each postal entry must be submitted separately. 
•  Multiple entries within one envelope will be counted as a single entry. 
•  Hand-delivered entries will not be accepted. 
•  Incomplete or illegible entries will be void. 
•  Proof of posting is not proof of receipt. 
•  Entries must arrive before the competition closing date. 
•  If all available entries have been allocated before a postal entry arrives, that entry may not be included. 
•  Free entries receive exactly the same chance of winning as paid entries. 
• Postal entries may be sent using either First or Second Class Royal Mail postage. Entrants are responsible for ensuring their entry arrives before the competition closing date, regardless of the postal service used.

Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd is not obliged to acknowledge receipt of free postal entries.

8. Ticket Allocation and Payments

Ticket numbers will be allocated once an entry has been successfully accepted.

Where ticket numbers are reserved during checkout, Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd may release those numbers if payment is not completed within the allocated time.

Entrants are responsible for ensuring they receive confirmation of their entry.

Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd accepts no responsibility for:

•  Failed transactions; 
•  Technical issues; 
•  Internet interruptions; 
•  Payment processor failures; or 
•  Any circumstance beyond its reasonable control. 

9. Winner Selection

All eligible entries will be entered into a random draw following the competition closing date.

Draws may be conducted using:

•  Certified random number generation software; 
•  A random ball machine; or 
•  Another independently verifiable random selection process. 

Draws may be streamed live through social media platforms or other online channels.

Unless otherwise stated, each competition will have one winner.

The decision of Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd is final.

10. Winner Notification

Winners will be contacted using the details supplied during entry.

Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd may attempt contact by:

•  Telephone; 
•  Email; and/or 
•  Social media messaging where appropriate. 

If a winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond or fails to claim their prize within 14 days of the draw date, Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd reserves the right to award the prize to another eligible entrant.

Once an alternative winner has been selected, the original winner forfeits all rights to the prize.

11. Prize Information

Prize descriptions are published in good faith and are believed to be accurate at the time of publication.

However, Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd does not guarantee:

•  Manufacturer specifications; 
•  Future value; 
•  Market value; or 
•  Availability beyond the information supplied. 

Prizes are subject to availability.

Where circumstances beyond our control make it necessary, Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd reserves the right to substitute a prize with:

•  An alternative prize of equal or greater value; or 
•  A cash alternative. 

Prizes are not transferable unless otherwise agreed by the Promoter.

12. Vehicle Prizes

Where a motor vehicle is awarded as a prize:

•  Ownership will be transferred using the appropriate DVLA procedures; 
•  The winner becomes responsible for taxation, insurance, registration and ongoing costs upon transfer of ownership; 
•  The vehicle is accepted in its advertised condition unless otherwise stated. 

Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd accepts no responsibility for ongoing maintenance, repairs or operating costs once ownership has transferred.

13. Prize Delivery

Prizes may be:

•  Delivered directly; 
•  Delivered via courier; 
•  Collected by the winner; or 
•  Transferred electronically where appropriate. 

Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd will arrange prize delivery within a reasonable period following confirmation of the winner.

Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd is not responsible for delays, loss or damage caused by third-party delivery providers.

14. Publicity and Winner Information

By entering a competition, entrants acknowledge that Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd may publish winner information for transparency and regulatory purposes.

This may include:

•  First name and surname; 
•  Town, county or region; 
•  Photographs; 
•  Prize handover images; and 
•  Video content relating to the award of the prize. 

Winners may be invited to participate in reasonable promotional activity.

Entrants who do not wish to participate in publicity should notify Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd before the draw takes place.

Where legally required, winner information may still be disclosed to regulatory authorities, trading standards bodies or the Advertising Standards Authority.

15. Fraud, Abuse and Disqualification

Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

•  Provides false information; 
•  Uses automated systems or software to enter; 
•  Attempts to manipulate the draw process; 
•  Commits fraud or deception; 
•  Interferes with the operation of the Website; 
•  Attempts unauthorised access to systems; or 
•  Acts in an abusive, threatening or inappropriate manner towards staff, contractors or participants. 

Disqualified entries will be void.

No refund will be issued where disqualification results from a breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd may suspend or permanently close associated user accounts.

16. Competition Changes and Cancellation

Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd reserves the right to amend, suspend, postpone, cancel or modify a competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Where a competition is cancelled, refunds may be issued where required by law or at the discretion of the Promoter.

Competitions will not ordinarily be cancelled solely because of low ticket sales.

There is no minimum number of entries required unless expressly stated otherwise.

17. Refund Policy

Except where required by law, entry fees are non-refundable.

No refund will be issued where:

•  An entrant is later found to be ineligible; 
•  An entrant is disqualified; 
•  An entrant fails to read the competition details correctly; or 
•  An entrant changes their mind after entering. 

Nothing in this clause affects statutory consumer rights.

18. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

Subject to that limitation, Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd shall not be liable for:

•  Indirect losses; 
•  Consequential losses; 
•  Loss of profits; 
•  Technical interruptions; 
•  Website downtime; 
•  Delayed communications; or 
•  Third-party service failures. 

Participation in competitions is entirely at the entrant's own risk.

19. Data Protection

Personal information will be processed in accordance with:

•  UK GDPR; 
•  The Data Protection Act 2018; and 
•  Any other applicable privacy legislation. 

Personal data may be used to:

•  Administer competitions; 
•  Verify eligibility; 
•  Contact winners; 
•  Meet legal obligations; and 
•  Send marketing communications where consent has been provided. 

Entrants may withdraw marketing consent at any time.

20. General Provisions

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Any failure by Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd to enforce a right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the entrant and Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd in relation to participation in competitions.

21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Scotland.

Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions or any competition operated by Brucey Bonus Competitions Ltd shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
